I thank God for every teacher and worker in our Sunday School & Children’s Church. It is a great ministry with eternal benefits. This is a clever video about being a Sunday School teacher.
Praise & Worship Night – Part 2
I realized after I looked a the last post on this subject that I left out the most amazing feat of the night.
Our very own Bob Taylor played both the electric piano and organ AND drank a cup of water at the same time!
All I can say is WOW!
Praise & Worship Night
Every fifth Sunday in the evening service we at Grace hold our version of a praise and worship service. Different members do special music, readings, or testimonies during the service. We usually follow this with a “more of less friendly” game of Sword Drill.
Here are a few of the blessings you miss when you are not part of this wonderful service…
- Great inspiring readings by Brother Dick Cooley & Brother John Cutlip
- A first time duet by Miss Nicole Copp & Miss Natalya Postupak (Praise Him, Praise Him, All Ye Little Children)
- Two great songs (Burdens Are Lifted At Calvary & I’ll Fly Away) by our very own mixed voice and instrumental group (just a touch of Bluegrass)
- A solo (The Longer I Serve Him) by Mrs. Karen Foltz (always a blessing)
- A solo (In The Sweet By and By) by the beautiful and talented Elizabeth Dunham (my not-so-baby girl)

- A “royal”duet by Steve and Ann King (“What A Day That Will Be”)
- A wonderful duet by the young and talented Paul & Mildred Wakeman (Moment By Moment)
- A testimony by Brother John Woolery (a longtime friend of this church and me)
- A surprise duet by the Pastor & Brother Woolery
- A “sword drill” competition which was very lively!
What a great privilege we have as children of God to fellowship with other Believers, worship our Savior in song and word, and have a great time in doing so!
