I still remember watching the “Today” program in our house in Vermont the morning of September 11, 2001. I remember hugging my children and wife and crying for our country and for the lives that were now in Eternity.

Below is a video tribute to 9/11. As you know, I am no fan of country music, but Alan Jackson does a good job with the music on this one. As we are embroiled in another presidential campaign, let us remember that:

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Below is video of the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. With Memorial Day approaching, I believe it is important to remember those who have died for our freedoms.

This video was shot by Missionary Scott Hall on May 8, 2008. It was a rainy, drizzly day, but it was heart-warming to think of this tomb being guarded 24/7 to honor those who have died serving our country.
